Jesse Hancock has a Masters in Secondary Education. He has been teaching high school English for 12 years and currently teaches at Brookwood High School. Although he teaches English as his day job, he loves music and teaching music. He has been playing violin for 30 years and teaching lessons for over 20 years. Mr. Hancock has played with the Old Dominion University Orchestra, the Virginia Beach Symphony Orchestra, the Atlanta Philharmonic Orchestra, and he currently plays with and serves as Concertmaster of the Alpharetta Symphony Orchestra. He has studied privately with former Concertmaster of the Virginia Symphony Sue Demetris-Dundon, former Juilliard teacher and performer Dora Marshall Mullins, and renowned international performer Sung-Ju Lee.
